I opened my law office on Labor Day, 2006 for the purpose of helping workers to protect their rights. Before opening my own practice, I worked in law offices for more than 12 years. During that time I devoted the majority of my practice to helping workers protect themselves. I also have represented employers in certain situations, primarily to ensure that their actions are in compliance with the requirements of law. As an additional part of my practice I speak at seminars teaching employers and other attorneys about the area of worker rights.

I've handled cases brought under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Employee Retirement Income and Security Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act and the National Labor Relations Act, as well as the Labor-Management Relations and Disclosure Act. In addition, I've protected employees in non-compete and trade secret disputes.

I have practiced before state and federal trial and appellate courts in Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi. I've also represented individuals and companies before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the National Labor Relations Board, the Department of Labor, the Merit Systems Protection Board and other federal, state and local agencies.
